SECL Recruitment 2026 Short Information
South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has released a notification for recruitment of Mining Sirdar, Assistant Foreman and Surveyor posts.

Educational Qualification
- Mining Sirdar : 10th Pass with Mining Sirdar Certificate & Valid DGMS Certificate
- Assistant Foreman : Diploma in Mining / Relevant Engineering Field
- Surveyor : Surveyor Certificate of Competency

Selection Process

- Stage 1 : Written Examination
Candidates will have to appear in a written exam. The exam will be objective type (MCQ based).
Questions will be asked from Technical Subject (Mining / Survey), General Knowledge, Reasoning and Basic Mathematics.
Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks to proceed to next stage.

- Stage 2 : Document Verification (DV)
Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for document verification.
All original documents such as educational certificates, caste certificate, ID proof, experience certificate etc. will be checked.
Any mismatch or fake document may lead to disqualification.

- Stage 3 : Medical Examination
After document verification, candidates must pass the medical fitness test.
Candidates should be physically fit as per SECL standards (especially for mining posts).
Eyesight, physical strength and overall health will be checked.
- Final Selection
Final merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination and successful completion of Document Verification & Medical Test.
Salary Details
- Mining Sirdar : ₹31,852/- Approx
- Assistant Foreman : ₹35,000/- Approx
- Other Allowances as per SECL Rules
